Guided Tours

The August Horch Museum offers two types of English speaking tours through the museum. You may choose between our audio guidance system and a personally guided tour. For disabled visitors we offer specifically designed tours through our barrier-free house.
 

Due to the limited capacities we kindly ask you to book the tours four weeks in advance. For tours within the regular hours please contact the museum under +49 375 / 27 17 38 12.

Tours beyond regular opening hours are also possible after prior agreement. Herefore please contact fuehrung@horch-museum.de. The maximum group size for one tour is 25 people.

Personally guided tour

Your tour guide will not just elaborate on interesting details but instead take you on a journey through the automotive history of Zwickau from its beginning to the present day. The given historical and technical information mixed with the scenes and settings that create an authentic atmosphere will relocate you into the respective time periods. The August Horch Mansion may also be part of the tour.

Audio Guidance System

For individuals and groups we offer the audio guidance system which will lead you independently through the museum.

The audio system takes you on an individual tour through Zwickau’s automotive history – including witnesses’ reports and the sound of engines. With the control options you decide for yourself what you want to be informed about and for how long.

The audio guide is available in German, English, Polish and Czech language.
 

Rate:
3.50 Euro per person. A reservation is not needed.
